Contrary to the Forensic Medicine Institute report, Matiz also shared the negative test result from an independent laboratory on the same day, saying, "There must be a mistake."
Singer Mabel Matiz, who was taken into custody as part of a drug investigation targeting celebrities, was released after providing samples to the Forensic Medicine Institute. According to test results announced today, drug substances were found in the urine and hair samples of the famous singer.
INDEPENDENT TEST CITED AS PROOF
Following this development, Matiz made a statement on his social media account, firmly denying the allegations. The 40-year-old singer also shared with the public a negative test result he obtained from an independent laboratory on the same day, contradicting the Forensic Medicine Institute report.
"THERE MUST BE A MISTAKE"
In his post, Matiz stated, "I learned with great sadness and surprise that false news is being spread about me. I want to inform my fans correctly. There must be a mistake," arguing that the official report was erroneous.
"I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT THIS ERROR WILL BE CORRECTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE"
Matiz continued his statement as follows: "After my statement to the gendarmerie and the Forensic Medicine Institute examinations, the result of the urine test I took at an independent laboratory on the same day naturally came out negative. I have to share that with you here as well. I am also waiting for the results of my blood and hair tests, and I have no doubt that they will also come out negative. I trust the justice of the Republic of Turkey, and I have no doubt that this error will be corrected as soon as possible."
