Somer Sivrioğlu, who has an arrest warrant issued against him as part of a drug investigation involving celebrities, released a statement. Sivrioğlu, who is known to be abroad, stated that he has purchased a ticket for his return.
As part of a drug investigation targeting celebrities, a detention order was issued for 14 individuals, including Somer Sivrioğlu, Emir Can İğrek, Burak Deniz, and Norm Ender.
STATEMENT FROM THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE
In a statement regarding the operation from the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the following was noted:
"Within the scope of the investigation file 2026/73811 of our Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Terror and Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau; coordinated with the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Narcotic Crimes Combat Branch Directorate, an operation was conducted against 14 suspects believed to have participated in the crimes of Purchasing, Accepting, or Possessing Drugs or Stimulants for Use, or Using Drugs or Stimulants, and Supplying Drugs or Stimulants, known to the public. Simultaneous search and seizure operations were carried out on 09.04.2026 for their capture."
During the search and seizure activities, 11 suspects were detained, it was determined that 2 suspects were on the run, and 1 suspect was found to be abroad. Our Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office continues investigations into crimes against public health, as it does for all types of crimes, with determination and diligence."

Somer Sivrioğlu, who is known to be abroad during the operation, released a statement on his social media account. Sivrioğlu stated, "As of this morning, I have been invited to give a statement as part of an ongoing investigation. I learned about this situation while in Australia, where I have been for about 3 months due to my work and profession, and I am on my way to my country after purchasing my return ticket. As a citizen who loves his country, I am honored to fulfill all responsibilities in the investigations conducted by our state against crime and criminals."
