The Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation decided to continue its duty until the date of the ordinary elective general assembly in line with the decisions taken. The decisions taken at the meeting and the new appointments were also officially announced.
The Turkish Football Federation Board of Directors met today. The decisions taken after the meeting were shared with the public. The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Board of Directors announced that following the meeting held, it decided to continue its duties until the date of the ordinary elective general assembly. TFF also announced that it has parted ways with Technical Director Vincenzo Montella.
5 RESIGNATIONS AT TFF AT ONCE
Despite the board members' request for an extraordinary general assembly, the TFF President did not accept this request. Following this development, TFF Board Members Mecnun Otyakmaz, Mustafa Bozbağ, Zafer Bahadır Saraç, Bilal Arslan and Murat Şahin resigned. Thus, the TFF management will remain in office under the presidency of İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu until the ordinary election in July 2027.
DECISIONS TAKEN AND NEW APPOINTMENTS
Meanwhile, TFF officially announced the decisions taken at today's meeting. The names appointed to replace the resigning members were also announced.
In the statement made by the federation, it was said:
"In its meeting held today, the Turkish Football Federation Board of Directors decided to continue its duties until the date of the ordinary elective general assembly.
It has been decided to appoint substitute board members Mr. İbrahim Özbay and Mr. Metin Akyüz to replace two principal board members who had previously resigned.
Mr. Ahmet Erzurumlu, who currently serves as TFF Registration Affairs Director, has been appointed to replace Secretary General Mr. Abdullah Ayaz, who submitted his resignation to the TFF Board of Directors in recent days."
