Manchester City began their Premier League campaign with a win against Wolverhampton 3-1.

Playing at Wolverhampton's Molineux Stadium, Manchester City netted the opener with Kevin de Bruyne's penalty kick in the 20th minute.

Phil Foden doubled City's' lead in the 32nd minute, while Gabriel Jesus scored his team's third goal in the 95th minute.

Mexican forward Raul Jimenez scored Wolverhampton's only goal in the 72nd minute.

The game ended 3-1.

The matchday two of the 2020/21 season became the highest scoring matchday with 44 goals in the Premier League history.
