The requested sentence for Hakan Ateş, the former General Manager of Denizbank, who is being sued for fraud by names such as Emre Belözoğlu, Arda Turan, and Fernando Muslera, has been revealed. While the indictment was merged with the main case file, a prison sentence of 72 to 240 years was sought for Hakan Ateş, who also held a position at the bank.

The indictment prepared against Hakan Ateş and Mehmet Aydoğdu regarding the fraud case known to the public as the "high-yield secret fund" has been combined with the main case file, on the grounds that they committed the crime of "qualified fraud" against 24 complainants.

FILES IN THE FUND FRAUD CASE HAVE BEEN COMBINED

The examination of the indictment prepared by the Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the request to combine it with the case seen at the Istanbul 41st Heavy Penal Court has been completed. The court panel accepted the indictment and decided to combine it with the main case file.

Meanwhile, it has been learned that the court panel requested the complainants in the main case file to report their complaints and evidence regarding the newly added defendants Ateş and Aydoğdu. It was reported that if the complainants do not attend the hearing, a decision for their forcible appearance may be issued.
