Former MASAK Vice President Ramazan Başak was detained on charges of "stock market manipulation" and "publicly disseminating misleading information."

An investigation has been initiated against former MASAK Deputy Chairman Ramazan Başak by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

As part of the investigation, Başak was detained on charges of "publicly disseminating misleading information" and "market fraud" for allegedly making manipulative posts on social media that were deemed to be false and caused harm to investors and the relevant company.
