US President Donald Trump made his first assessment regarding Israel's military operations against Lebanon. Trump claimed that Lebanon was not included in the ceasefire agreement reached last night.
TRUMP: LEBANON IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT
Trump pointed to Hezbollah as the main justification for the attacks. Trump stated, "Lebanon is not included in the agreement. Because of Hezbollah. Hezbollah will also be dealt with."
PAKISTAN'S PRIME MINISTER SAID, "LEBANON IS INCLUDED"
Although Trump claimed that Lebanon was not included in the ceasefire, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif made a completely different statement yesterday. Sharif said, "I am very pleased to announce that we have reached an immediate ceasefire that is valid at this moment on every front, including Lebanon, together with Iran and the allies of the US."
ISRAEL'S ATTACK ON LEBANON
The Israeli army announced that the largest airstrike against Hezbollah since the start of the conflicts in Lebanon had been carried out, targeting 100 points within 10 minutes. Lebanon's Health Minister Rakan Nassereddine stated that hundreds of people had lost their lives and been injured in the attacks.
