An armed clash took place in Kamyaran Mountains in Iran’s Kurdistan Province between the volunteers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and a group opposing the Iranian revolution.

An armed clash took place in Kamyaran Mountains in Iran's Kurdistan Province between the volunteers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and a group opposing the Iranian revolution.



Four IRGC volunteers were killed during the incident.



Iran's IRNA news agency reported that the incident took place on June 23.



The agency reported on the confrontation today.



Reportedly, the killed IRGC volunteers were buried today in their home towns.



The exact name of the group involved in the incident has not been reported.
