Members of the DEM Party İmralı Delegation, Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar, met with AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala. It was stated that the meeting discussed the current stage of the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process and the issue of passing the framework law before the Turkish Grand National Assembly goes on recess at the end of this month.
The DEM Party's Imrali delegation, consisting of Pervin Buldan, Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) and Van Deputy, and Mithat Sancar, Şanlıurfa Deputy, met with AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala this evening after he left the Parliament following the July 15 programs held at the TBMM.
FRAMEWORK LAW'S ENACTMENT DISCUSSED BEFORE TBMM'S RECESS
It was reported that the meeting included evaluations of the current phase of the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process, and the enactment of the framework law was discussed before the TBMM goes into recess at the end of this month.
While DEM Party sources confirmed the meeting, no statement was made regarding its location or content.
PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN HAD SAID "WE WILL SUBMIT IT TO THE PARLIAMENT'S DISCRETION"
In his speech at the last group meeting at the TBMM, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had stated, "Without much delay, we will submit the relevant regulation to the discretion of the Parliament, which is the address for solving problems."
AK Party Deputy Chairman Ala had also reported that the legal regulation concerning the 'Terror-Free Turkey' was planned to be discussed before the TBMM goes into recess.
