On the 10th anniversary of the July 15 coup attempt, an unforgettable visual spectacle took place over the skies of the July 15 Martyrs' Bridge. With exactly 1500 drones, the Turkish flag, a portrait of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the nation's heroism, and symbolic figures of resistance were etched into the sky. Citizens filling the Bosphorus line watched this mesmerizing event for 10 minutes with great interest.
Within the scope of the 10th anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt by the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) on July 15, 2016, a drone light show was held in the skies over the July 15 Martyrs Bridge.
1500 DRONES LIT UP THE NIGHT
In the event organized by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, 1500 drones illuminated the night.
During the show, the text "In the 10th year of July 15, the will is ours, the victory is ours," along with a portrait of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish flag, were also projected onto the sky.
A VISUAL FEAST WAS CREATED
In the 10-minute show in the sky, the heroic moments of the nation and symbolic figures of resistance were conveyed to the citizens through dynamic and fluid choreographies, creating a visual feast.
During the event, one of the turning points of the coup attempt, the silhouette of a person holding a Turkish flag standing in front of a tank, was also reenacted to symbolize the victory of bare hands against piles of iron.
CITIZENS WATCHED WITH INTEREST
Citizens watched the show with interest from various points along the Bosphorus line, such as Üsküdar, Beşiktaş, Beylerbeyi, and Ortaköy.
