IT STARTED INSIDE, QUICKLY SPREAD OUTSIDE
The fire broke out at around 04:15 in the 5-story shopping mall on Fatih Boulevard. For reasons yet unknown, a fire started in the section of the mall's floors -1 and -2 where the cafeterias are located. The flames, growing rapidly, spread to the area where the external air conditioning units were located. Flames engulfed the exterior facade of the shopping mall.
Upon reports from those nearby, numerous fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished in a short time thanks to the intervention of the firefighting teams.
Teams carried out the evacuation of the dense smoke that had formed in the shopping mall. Inspections revealed that some workplaces had sustained damage due to the fire.
