US President Donald Trump announced on his Truth Social account that discussions lasting all night were held between India and Pakistan with the mediation of the US. Trump declared that after the discussions mediated by his country, India and Pakistan agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire.
INDIA'S ATTACK ON PAKISTAN
India conducted missile strikes on Pakistani territory and the Azad Kashmir region controlled by Pakistan on May 6, citing retaliation for the terrorist attack in the Pahalgam region on April 22, which killed 26 people.
The Indian army announced that it targeted 9 sites it described as "terrorist organizations," while the Islamabad administration reported that 6 civilian locations were targeted in the attacks, resulting in 33 deaths and 62 injuries.
