GAVE BIRTH IN THE TAXI
Meanwhile, the pregnant mother's labor pains intensified, and the baby was born inside the vehicle. While the mother gave birth to a baby boy, the umbilical cord was cut by the medical team in front of the hospital. It was learned that the health condition of both the mother and the baby taken to the hospital was good.
"THE NURSE CUT THE CORD IN THE VEHICLE"
Taxi driver Samet Aygün, recounting his experience, said, "I was sitting at the stand drinking tea. I received a call at the stand. Since it was an emergency, I immediately went to the address. I picked up the family at the address. While we were on the road, the woman suddenly gave birth in my vehicle. I heard the baby’s cry, and I was very surprised. We rushed to the hospital, and the nurse cut the umbilical cord inside the taxi. They took them inside afterward, and the health condition of both the mother and the baby was good," he said.
"WE WILL APPLY THY TARIFF FOR THE BABY AND HIS FAMILY"
Aygün also made a different gesture regarding the incident he experienced. Aygün said, "As a taxi stand, we will apply the same free transportation tariff that Turkish Airlines offers to baby Yesen and his family. We will not charge taxi fare from baby Yesen and his family from now on."
