Fluctuations in global markets and the rise in exchange rates have hit fuel prices again. As of midnight, diesel prices increased by 1 lira 10 kurus, with the per-liter price exceeding the 70 TL mark in some provinces. No changes are expected in gasoline prices for now.
The rise in fuel prices continues. Following the volatility in global markets, the increase in the exchange rate, and the rise in cost items, a new price hike has been applied to diesel. As of midnight, the liter price of diesel has been increased by 1 lira 10 kurus.
DIESEL PRICE EXCEEDS 70 TL THRESHOLD
After the price hike, diesel prices have reached notable levels, especially in metropolitan cities. In Eastern provinces, where transportation costs are higher, the liter price has gone up to 70.22 TL. Thus, a new threshold in diesel prices has been surpassed.
NO CHANGE IN GASOLINE PRICES
According to information from industry sources, no price change is expected for gasoline as of today. However, it is stated that due to ongoing fluctuations in oil prices and the exchange rate, new changes in fuel prices may come onto the agenda.
