PENALTY WAS IMPOSED FOR 3 REASONS
According to UEFA's statement, there are three different reasons for the penalty imposed on Galatasaray. The penalty for the yellow-red club was given due to the incidents and disturbances in the stands during the match against Juventus, the fans lighting flares, and throwing foreign objects onto the field.
GALATASARAY REQUESTED A POSTPONEMENT
The Galatasaray management has applied to UEFA for the postponement of the penalty. It was stated that if the application made by the yellow-reds is accepted, the fans will be able to attend the match against Liverpool away.
DATE OF LIVERPOOL MATCHES
Galatasaray, which is matched with Liverpool in the Round of 16 of the Champions League, will play the first match on Tuesday, March 10, at Rams Park. The return match will be held on Wednesday, March 18, at Anfield Stadium in England.
