President Erdoğan made statements during the iftar program with the Mehmetçik. The first statement from Erdoğan, who was curious about what he would say regarding the missile shot down in Hatay after being launched from Iran, came. Erdoğan said: "As in this morning's incident, we are taking all necessary precautions in close consultation with our NATO allies and making necessary interventions. We are making our warnings as clearly as possible to prevent a similar incident from happening again."

In our Gallipoli and War of Independence, we managed to break their dirty and treacherous hands one by one despite all impossibilities.

If today we stand out as an island of stability in the midst of the surrounding circle of fire, we owe this first and foremost to our national character that never accepts captivity and to the deterrence of our heroic army. The political, diplomatic, and economic power of the Republic of Turkey, along with the education, equipment, and vision of the Turkish Armed Forces, dazzles the world. We continue to strengthen our heroic army, which has been encouraged for centuries by our ancestors' cries of 'O glorious army, O glorious soldier,' by providing all kinds of support.
We completed our defense and aviation exports with record figures. In the NATO exercise in Germany, our armed forces both made us proud and received appreciation from our allies. If we had looked at 'Don't conduct missile tests, the fish are scared,' we certainly would not have achieved these. If we want to live on these lands, which are our eternal homeland, we must continuously increase our deterrence. In these troubled days, we do not leave the security of our borders and airspace to chance.
