Gas disaster in a factory in Bursa: 1 worker lost their life.

Süleyman Ç., a 40-year-old man, collapsed due to gas exposure while cleaning a chemical boiler at a forest products factory in the İnegöl district of Bursa and was taken to the hospital. After the incident, 36-year-old Mikail Aktaş, who entered the boiler to complete the unfinished cleaning, was poisoned by the gas and lost his life.

FAINTED WHILE CLEANING THE CHEMICAL BOILER

The incident occurred around 10:00 AM at the forest products factory in the İnegöl Organized Industrial Zone. Süleyman Ç. reportedly fainted after being poisoned by leaking gas while cleaning the chemical boiler. Süleyman Ç. was taken to İnegöl State Hospital by ambulance dispatched to the factory.

LOST HIS LIFE WHILE COMPLETING THE INCOMPLETE WORK

Shortly after this incident, Mikail Aktaş, wearing a safety mask, wanted to complete the cleaning that was left unfinished due to his colleague's fainting. Health teams were dispatched to the scene upon the report of other workers who saw Aktaş faint. Aktaş, whose heart was restarted with massage, could not be saved despite intervention at the private hospital he was taken to by ambulance.
