BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici made evaluations on the attacks in Gaza, the future of the Turkic world, economy, education, family structure, and the fight against terrorism at his party's 13th Ordinary Grand Congress. Calling for a production-oriented economy, Destici emphasized the need to protect the family institution, support youth, and strengthen Turkey's unity and integrity. Destici stated that the Great Unity Party will continue to be "Turkey's unyielding conscience."
The 13th Ordinary Grand Congress of the Great Unity Party is being held in Ankara today under the slogan "One Heart, One Nation, One Great Unity." Speaking at the congress, Chairman Mustafa Destici made evaluations on many topics from foreign policy to the economy, from education to family structure, and from the fight against terrorism to the Turkish world.
DESTİCİ'S MESSAGE OF UNITY AND BROTHERHOOD
At the opening of the congress, Mustafa Destici commemorated Abdurrahim Karakoç, one of the founding figures of the party, and martyr leader Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, stating that the Great Unity Party has been pursuing politics without compromising its principles for 33 years. Destici emphasized that their party is not merely a political movement but also a movement of ethics, conscience, and cause.
Noting that Turkey and the world are going through important breaking points, Destici expressed that the way to be a strong state in the face of changing global balances is not only through military power but also through food security, energy independence, technology, defense industry, and social unity.
REACTION TO THE ATTACKS IN GAZA
Devoting a significant part of his speech to the developments in Gaza, Destici harshly criticized Israel's attacks. Stating that what is happening in Gaza is a test of humanity's morality, Destici described the targeting of women, children, and civilians as unacceptable. He said that the Great Unity Party stands by the oppressed in Gaza today, just as it did in Bosnia in the past.
EMPHASIS ON THE TURKIC WORLD
Also making assessments regarding the future of the Turkic world, Destici drew attention to the importance of the Organization of Turkic States. Stating that common alphabet, common cultural policies, and economic collaborations need to be developed, Destici said the Karabakh victory is a common achievement of the entire Turkic world. He also stated that the oppression suffered by the Uyghur Turks in East Turkestan should not be forgotten.
CALL FOR PRODUCTION IN THE ECONOMY
The Chairman of the Great Unity Party, stating that economic problems are the most important agenda for citizens, said that agriculture and livestock are strategic areas. Drawing attention to the difficulties faced by farmers, producers, retirees, and low-income citizens, Destici argued that high inflation, unemployment, and interest problems can be overcome with production-oriented policies.
Stating that Turkey should turn towards an economic model that grows not through interest but strengthens through production, Destici called for a great production mobilization.
DREW ATTENTION TO FAMILY AND SOCIAL STRUCTURE
Also making evaluations regarding social issues, Destici said that protecting children and young people is one of the priority tasks. Stating that protecting the family institution is a national issue, Destici emphasized the need to fight against issues such as drugs, digital addiction, virtual betting, and social degeneration.
Arguing that violence against women should be punished most severely, Destici said that the death penalty should be brought back to the agenda for femicides, child murders, and terrorist crimes.
MESSAGE ON THE FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISM
Also touching on the fight against terrorism, Destici argued that the PKK should lay down its arms along with all its extensions and be completely dissolved. Stating that the fight should be against terrorist organizations, not negotiations, Destici said they are against any compromise on the unitary structure and national values of the Republic of Turkey.
Emphasizing that the Turkish flag, the Turkish nation, and the Republic of Turkey are common values, Destici stated that protecting the unity and integrity of the country is their red line.
EDUCATION AND YOUTH HEADLINES CAME TO THE FORE
Stating that the education system needs to be restructured, Destici said that young people should be raised not only as individuals preparing for exams but as individuals with character and productivity. Drawing attention to the importance of protecting the Turkish language, Destici stated that national and spiritual values should be strengthened in the education system.
Addressing the youth, Destici called on them not to lose hope, stating that Turkey's future will rise on the shoulders of the youth. He invited the Alperens and the youth to struggle under the roof of the Great Unity Party.

At the end of his speech, Destici stated that the Great Unity Party continues to grow with its understanding of honesty, morality, and principled politics, saying that their party represents the conscience of the nation. Reiterating the slogan "One heart, one nation, one Great Unity," Destici expressed that they will continue their struggle for Turkey's future.
