CHP Istanbul Deputy Gökhan Günaydın returned to his position as Deputy Group Chair after the precautionary measure against him was lifted by the CHP High Disciplinary Board. Upon the decision reaching the Turkish Grand National Assembly Presidency, Günaydın's title was updated again on the official website of the Parliament.
Following the absolute nullity decision in CHP, a new development occurred regarding Istanbul Deputy Gökhan Günaydın, who was among the names referred to disciplinary action with precautionary measures for definitive expulsion.
The precautionary measure against Günaydın was lifted by the CHP Supreme Disciplinary Board after his objection.
RETURNED TO DUTY
After the document regarding the lifting of the precautionary measure reached the Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Gökhan Günaydın resumed his position as CHP Deputy Group Chair.
Following the completion of necessary correspondences, Günaydın's title of deputy group chair was also reflected on the official website of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
REMOVED FROM OFFICE AFTER THE ABSOLUTE NULLITY DECISION
After the absolute nullity decision in CHP, nine deputies were referred to disciplinary action with precautionary measures for definitive expulsion. During this process, Istanbul Deputy Gökhan Günaydın and Mersin Deputy Ali Mahir Başarır were removed from their positions as deputy group chairs.
