The water level at Salda Lake, located in the Yeşilova district of Burdur and referred to as "Turkey's Maldives" due to its turquoise color, has risen. Following the recent rains, the lake experienced a 14-centimeter increase, which corresponds to approximately 6 million tons of additional water.

WATER LEVEL RISED
With the recent rains, an increase in the water level of Salda Lake has been observed, as revealed by the data shared by the State Hydraulic Works (DSI).
INCREASED BY 14 CENTIMETERS
Measurements taken between January 15 and February 15 revealed that the water level of the lake increased by 14 centimeters. Authorities stated that considering the lake's large surface area, this increase corresponds to approximately 6 million tons of water.
