As part of the largest social housing initiative in the history of the Republic, 936,159 people applied on the first day for 500,000 social housing units to be built in 81 provinces. 905,640 APPLICATIONS WERE MADE THROUGH E-GOVERNMENT
According to a written statement from the ministry; yesterday, citizens whose last digit of their Turkish Identification Number (TCKN) was '0' applied through e-Government. Of the applications on the first day, 905,640 were made through e-Government, and 30,519 were made through bank branches. Today, those whose TCKN ends with '2' will be able to apply through e-Government. Applications will be accepted at the announced branches on the TOKİ page without any identification number distinction at authorized banks (Ziraat Bankası, Halk Bankası, Emlak Katılım Bankası). APPLICATIONS WILL CONTINUE IN STAGES UNTIL NOVEMBER 15
Tomorrow, applications will be accepted from citizens whose last digit is '4', on November 13 from those whose last digit is '6', and on November 14 from those whose last digit is '8'. As of November 15, all citizens will be able to apply regardless of their identification number. Applications made through e-Government will end on December 18, while applications through bank branches will end on December 19. The application processes for the families of martyrs, and those who are victims of terrorism, war, and duty-related injuries will be conducted only through branches without any application fee.
MINISTER KURUM SHARED HOW TO APPLY FOR THE PROJECT
The Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, shared a video on his social media account explaining the steps for citizens to apply for the project. The shared footage indicated that applications could be made either through authorized bank branches or e-Government.
FIRST 5 DAYS OF APPLICATION THROUGH E-GOVERNMENT REQUIRES TCKN CONDITION
For citizens who want to apply through e-Government without going to the branch, the application process was explained step by step. First, citizens will click on the "TOKİ Housing/Business Application" screen after logging into e-Government. The 500 thousand social housing project will be selected, and the approval button will be clicked. After this preliminary application, the request that falls into the TOKİ system will be evaluated. After the review, banks will open an account in the name of the applicant. Then, the account number will be sent to the applicant via SMS. Subsequently, a 5,000 TL application fee will be deposited into this account via EFT/transfer or ATM. If the money is not deposited into the account within the specified time, the application will be canceled. Citizens can track the status of their application from the "Application List" screen in the TOKİ tab on e-Government.
MEASURES FOR DENSITY ON E-GOVERNMENT
To reduce system congestion for applications to be made through e-Government, applications will only be accepted based on the last digit of the Turkish Identification Number (TCKN) during the first 5 days of the campaign. On November 10, applications will be accepted from citizens whose last digit of TCKN is '0', on November 11 from those whose last digit is '2', on November 12 from those whose last digit is '4', on November 13 from those whose last digit is '6', and on November 14 from those whose last digit is '8'. As of November 15, all citizens will be able to apply regardless of their identification number. For applications made at authorized bank branches, no identification number condition will be required.

SIZES OF THE HOUSES
Within the scope of the campaign with the slogan 'Homeowner Turkey', houses will be offered for sale with a 10% down payment and payment options up to 240 months. 40% of the houses, that is, 200,000 units, will consist of 2+1 houses of 80 square meters. 30%, or 150,000 units, will consist of 2+1 houses of 65 square meters, and the remaining 150,000 will consist of 1+1 houses of 55 square meters.
SALES PRICES AND PAYMENT PLANS FOR ANATOLIAN PROVINCES
The prices of the houses and installment amounts will differ in Istanbul and Anatolian provinces. In Anatolia, 1+1 houses will be sold for 1 million 800 thousand TL, 65 square meter 2+1 houses for 2 million 200 thousand TL, and 80 square meter 2+1 houses for 2 million 650 thousand TL. The installments for 1+1 houses in Anatolia will be 6,750 TL. The installments for 65 square meter 2+1 houses will be 8,250 TL, and the installments for 80 square meter 2+1 houses will be set at 9,938 TL.
SALES PRICES AND PAYMENT PLANS FOR ISTANBUL
In Istanbul, 1+1 houses will be sold for 1 million 950 thousand TL, 65 square meter 2+1 houses for 2 million 450 thousand TL, and 80 square meter 2+1 houses for 2 million 950 thousand TL. The installments for 1+1 houses in Istanbul will be 7,313 TL, for 65 square meter 2+1 houses will be 9,188 TL, and for 80 square meter 2+1 houses will be set at 11,063 TL.
WHICH GROUPS WILL HAVE HOW MUCH QUOTA?
5% of the rights holders will be martyr families and veterans, 5% will be disabled individuals, 20% will be retirees, 10% will be families with three or more children, 20% will be young people aged 18-30, and the remaining 40% will consist of other buyers.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Those who are 18 years old and have been citizens of the Republic of Turkey for the last 10 years will be able to benefit from the campaign. The household's monthly net income must not exceed 145,000 TL for Istanbul and 127,000 TL for other provinces. Families of martyrs and those who are disabled due to terrorism, war, and duty will be exempt from this condition.
RESIDENCE CONDITION WILL BE REQUIRED
In the places where applications will be made (if it is a province, in the province; if it is a district, in the district; if it is a town, in the town), according to the address-based registration system; a condition of residing for at least 1 year prior to the application period will be required. For retirees and provinces affected by earthquakes, a condition of being registered in the population or residing for at least 1 year will be required. Those applying in the "Families of Martyrs, Terror, War, and Duty Disabled" category must have resided in the project province for at least 3 years.
APPLICATIONS WILL BE MADE BY THOSE WITHOUT A HOUSE
Applicants (including their spouses and children) must not have a registered independent residence in the title deed and/or (excluding families of martyrs and those disabled due to terrorism, war, and duty) must not have a contract with TOKİ. In cases of shared property titles, citizens can apply if the value of their share in the real estate does not exceed 1 million TL.

Applications for the project, which aims to provide low-income citizens with the opportunity to own a home under suitable conditions, will end on December 19, with a total of 500 thousand houses to be built across Turkey.
