The ongoing betting scandal in Turkish football continues to escalate. Following referees and players, now coaches, club presidents, and managers have also come under investigation. The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) will soon announce the names of those identified as having engaged in betting or being involved in betting activities. These individuals will be referred to the Professional Football Discipline Board under Article 57 of the Football Discipline Regulations.

INVESTIGATION EXPANDS
A new phase has been reached in the extensive betting investigation conducted by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF). According to a report by Sabah newspaper, after referees and players, coaches, club presidents, and managers have also come under scrutiny.
The TFF will announce the names of those identified as having engaged in betting or being involved in betting activities shortly. These names will be referred to the Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK) under Article 57 of the Football Discipline Regulation.
1024 PLAYERS REFERRED
In the first phase announced recently, 1024 players, including 27 from the Super League, were referred to the PFDK for allegedly engaging in betting. It has been learned that the investigation covers the last 5 years and that not only players but also coaching staff and club executives are under scrutiny.
TFF'S HISTORIC CLEANING OPERATION
This investigation, which has reached unprecedented dimensions in Turkish football, has begun to be referred to as the "clean hands operation." The TFF announced that it could postpone matches in the leagues if necessary, while stating that there is currently no danger in the Super League.
