CANCELLATION OF PAST MATCHES ON THE AGENDA
It is stated that if attempts by club presidents and referees to influence match results are detected within the scope of the investigation, a much larger crisis could erupt. In this case, it was expressed that the matches affected by the results could be canceled and, if necessary, the league registration could be reevaluated. 6 REFEREES, 1 PRESIDENT, AND 1 JOURNALIST ARRESTED
As part of the betting investigation in football, 19 people were referred to the court with a request for arrest. Among those arrested were Eyüpspor President Murat Özkaya, referees Erkan Arslan, Nevzat Okat, Yakup Yapıcı, Ahmet Kıvanç Kader, Nurullah Bayram, Baran Karaman, and journalist Umut Eken. The court also issued an arrest warrant for suspects Cihad Buyurgan, Miraç Yıldırım, Mustafa Özel, Sabri Emre Tekin, Şenol Bektaş, and Yasin Şen, among 11 suspects, ruling that judicial control measures should be applied.
