It was noted that the meeting took place in a "sincere and constructive atmosphere." The statement mentioned that during the meeting, President Trump expressed his admiration for the "new Syrian leadership and the Syrian people," and also conveyed his appreciation for the "liberation and stability gains achieved across the country."
The statement highlighted that Trump conveyed that "the U.S. is ready to provide the necessary support for Syria's reconstruction and development process," and it was stated that a working meeting was held between the foreign ministers of Syria and the U.S. and Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
SDF STATEMENT
The statement indicated that the working meeting lasted for more than an hour and emphasized that an agreement was reached on establishing clear mechanisms for the implementation of the "March 10 Agreement" signed between Shara and the terrorist Mazlum Abdi Şahin, known by the code name "Mazlum Kobani." The statement included that in this context, "steps will be taken towards the integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces into the Syrian Arab Army as part of the process of integrating institutions (SDF with the Damascus administration) and strengthening national security."
