CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Gürsel Tekin issued stern warnings, stating that his attitude towards Özgür Özel and his team will now change. Emphasizing that he had remained silent until now to avoid harming the party's corporate identity, Tekin challenged them by saying, "They have produced false news about me, but I have not yet shared the real news I have with the public. In the coming days, I will act according to their stance."
In the Haberler.com studio, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Gürsel Tekin, who answered questions about current issues from News Manager Olgun Kızıltepe and presenter Melis Yaşar, made striking assessments.
HE CALLED IT A "LIE WIND"
Responding to Özgür Özel's statement "We are establishing a new party" with the words "This is a temporary situation. In the coming days, we will all see together how this lie wind creates an empty storm," Tekin said, "The Republican People's Party will henceforth deal with Turkey's real agenda. Turkey's real agenda includes poverty, misery, and drugs. There are gang formations that have infected very young children, aged 13-15. We will deal with these. Whatever our friends want to do from now on, let them do it. We will no longer spend our time on them."
"I HAVE NEWS IN HAND"
Emphasizing that their attitude towards Özgür Özel and his team will also change, Gürsel Tekin said, "From the very beginning, despite all kinds of lies, all kinds of slander, and all kinds of insults, we remained silent so that the Republican People's Party's institutional identity would not be harmed. But from now on, no one can silence us. Not a single piece of news they have said or done about me so far is true. But I have never shared the real news I have with the public."
"I WILL ACT ACCORDING TO THEIR ATTITUDE"
When asked whether he would share the said news with the public, Tekin said, "In the coming days, I will act according to their attitude. My late father used to say, 'My son, choose your friends well. If they turn out bad one day, do not call them bad.' But despite all these evils, from the day we arrived, even though we had every legal authority, we did not do the slightest thing. We ignored all the lies, slanders, all of them. We said, let there be no separation, we can stay together. None of this worked."
