Rock musician Hayko Cepkin came to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan as part of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Ahbap Association and gave a statement to the prosecutor. At the courthouse entrance, Cepkin reacted to the press members, using insulting and profane language, saying, "You blow everything out of proportion with your ridiculous news. There's nothing but sh*t to pollute the place."
As part of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Ahbap Association, rock musician Hayko Cepkin arrived at the courthouse to give a statement. At the entrance to the courthouse, Cepkin made insulting remarks to the press, saying, "Blow everything up, damn it, with your absurd news. You do nothing but dirty the place."
The investigation into the Ahbap Association, launched over allegations that earthquake aid was used for gambling and illegal betting, leading to the arrest of 28 people including singer Haluk Levent, continues.
It was learned that within the scope of the investigation, journalist Uğur Dündar, artist and director Mahsun Kırmızıgül, singer and actress Gülben Ergen, actress Elçin Sangu, and rock musician Hayko Cepkin were summoned to give statements.
INSULTS AND CURSES TOWARDS PRESS MEMBERS
As the investigation continued, Hayko Cepkin arrived at the Istanbul Justice Palace in Çağlayan to give a statement to the prosecutor. Before the statement process, Cepkin reacted to questions from press members, using insulting and vulgar language towards journalists.
Cepkin responded to the press members' questions by saying, "What's this... 'Hello,' phone call 'Mr. Hayko, we'd like to consult you.' Blow everything up, damn it, with your absurd news. You do nothing but dirty the place."
