A verbal argument between an elderly vehicle driver and a young pedestrian in Bağcılar turned into a fight. As the driver inside the vehicle tried to leave the scene, the young pedestrian ran after him shouting insults. The elderly man stopped his car, got out with a stick he took from inside, and struck the head of the young man who was trying to attack him. The young man collapsed to the ground from the blow.
YOUNG PEDESTRIAN AND ELDERLY DRIVER FIRST ARGUED
The incident occurred in Bağcılar on the evening of August 13. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between a driver and a pedestrian in traffic for reasons still unknown.
During the argument, bystanders who saw the elderly driver and the young pedestrian moving toward each other intervened.
THE DRIVER TRIED TO LEAVE BUT...
As bystanders intervened and the elderly man got into his vehicle to leave the scene, the young pedestrian followed the car and began hurling insults at the elderly man.
Upon hearing the insults, the elderly man stopped his car, and the young pedestrian suddenly ran toward the vehicle and tried to open the driver's door.
COULDN'T GET UP AFTER TAKING THE STICK
The elderly man got out with a stick he took from his car and struck the head of the person trying to attack him. The young man collapsed to the ground from the blow. The bewildered young man remained on the ground for a while.
