91-year-old civil engineer Dinçer Akyalı, living in the Fethiye district of Muğla, fulfilled a promise to his mother by donating his 4-story building and land, worth approximately 500 million lira, to education. Akyalı, who worked in the USA for many years, transferred his property to the Fethiye District Directorate of National Education. Regarding the building, which is planned to serve as a Science and Art Center next year, Akyalı said, "I hope future scientists will be raised here."

Akyalı, who worked as a civil engineer in the United States for many years, fulfilled his promise to his mother by donating his real estate, valued at approximately 500 million lira, to education.

Akyalı donated the 4-story building, currently used as an educational institution, and its land located in the Patlangıç neighborhood of Fethiye at the Muğla Makası location, to the Fethiye District Directorate of National Education.

TRANSFER PROTOCOL SIGNED

As part of the donation process, a protocol ceremony was held at the Fethiye District Governorate. At the ceremony, a transfer protocol was signed between Fethiye District Governor Fatih Akkaya and philanthropist Dinçer Akyalı.

Governor Akkaya stated that investments in education are among the most important investments in the future, and noted that the support of philanthropists makes a significant contribution to the development of educational institutions.
