In Bursa, a person alleged to have psychological issues severely stabbed his mother with a knife, then stabbed himself and hit his head against a taxi window. While the mother was taken to the hospital, the suspect was subdued by the police.
According to the claim, a man with psychological issues in Bursa first seriously injured his mother, with whom he lived, with a knife. While the mother, who ran into the street, screamed for help, the suspect first stabbed himself and then headbutted the window of a commercial taxi parked by the roadside.
The incident occurred around 04:00 in the İntizam neighborhood of the central Osmangazi district. According to the information obtained, İsmail S., who had psychological issues, had a fit of rage at home for an unknown reason and stabbed his mother, Ayşe S.
HEADBUTTED TAXI WINDOW
The suspect İsmail S. then stabbed himself. Mother Ayşe S., who rushed outside, screamed for help. Hearing the screams, neighbors reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial intervention at the scene, the seriously injured mother was taken to Çekirge State Hospital, while İsmail S., who had stabbed himself, headbutted the window of a parked commercial taxi.
RESISTED POLICE TEAMS FOR A WHILE
İsmail S., who resisted police teams for a while, was subdued. After intervention at the scene, İsmail S. was taken to Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
