In the Kepez district of Antalya, a citizen going to the market saw the body of a person with his hands tied behind his back in an olive grove. Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The body was identified as belonging to 25-year-old Mehmet Beyazıtlı. The incident is considered to be a murder.
In an olive grove in the Kepez district of Antalya, a male corpse with hands tied behind his back was found. Police investigation determined that the deceased was 25-year-old Mehmet Beyazıtlı.
A CITIZEN GOING TO THE MARKET NOTICED IT
The incident occurred around 12:00 in an olive grove area on 1203 Street, Varsak Aydoğmuş Neighborhood, Kepez district. A citizen passing through the olive grove on their way to the market noticed a person lying motionless on the ground with hands tied behind their back and immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
THE LIFELESS BODY WAS TAKEN TO THE MORGUE
Upon the report, police and medical teams were quickly dispatched to the area. In the initial checks by the medical teams who arrived at the address, it was determined that the person lying on the ground had lost their life. Due to the suspicious death, Public Order Branch Directorate Homicide Bureau and Crime Scene Investigation teams were dispatched to the area.
In the detailed examinations conducted by the teams, it was determined that the deceased was 25-year-old Mehmet Beyazıtlı. While it is being considered that Beyazıtlı may have been murdered, his lifeless body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for determination of the exact cause of death and autopsy procedures after the prosecutor's examination. Homicide Bureau teams have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
