In the Eruh district of Siirt, Ömer Çelepkolu (68), who fell ill during a fistfight between two related families over a land dispute, died at the hospital where he was taken.
The incident occurred last night in the Eruh district. A dispute arose between relatives E.Ç. and Ömer Çelepkolu over a land disagreement. The argument quickly escalated into a fistfight with the involvement of relatives from both sides. After sustaining blows during the fight, Ömer Çelepkolu collapsed and fell ill.
COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL EFFORTS OF DOCTORS
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial intervention, Çelepkolu was taken to Eruh State Hospital but could not be saved despite all efforts by doctors. His body was sent to the Siirt Training and Research Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
An investigation has been launched into the incident, with some suspects taken into custody.
