SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK AT THE WHEEL
The accident occurred around 11:00 AM on 2nd Street in the İnegöl Organized Industrial Zone. Tekin Çaldır suffered a heart attack while driving his pickup truck with license plate 35 LAG 20, loaded with recycling cardboard. The out-of-control pickup truck crashed into a truck parked on the roadside. In the accident, Çaldır was trapped in the vehicle and seriously injured.
CHEST COMPRESSIONS WERE PERFORMED UNTIL REACHING THE HOSPITAL, BUT HE COULD NOT BE SAVED
Upon reports from those nearby, police, medical, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the accident scene. Fire brigade teams removed the injured man from where he was trapped and handed him over to medical teams. Tekin Çaldır, whose heart was found to have stopped, was given chest compressions and taken by ambulance to İnegöl State Hospital. The driver, who received treatment, could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital.
Police teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
