The accident occurred around 11:30 AM on Şehit Ali Daniyar Street in the Ermenek neighborhood of the Muratpaşa district. High school students Hasan Demir and Oğuzhan Yiğit S. set out on a motorcycle to receive their report cards.

The motorcycle, whose driver has not yet been identified, lost control in a curve and overturned. The overturned motorcycle came to a stop after being dragged for about 50 meters. Upon notification from nearby citizens, health and police teams were dispatched to the accident site.
Two high school students who were taken to the hospital by ambulances; Demir, who was in critical condition, could not be saved despite the doctors' intervention. It was learned that Oğuzhan Yiğit S., who survived the accident with injuries, is still receiving treatment. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
