Ufuk Şekerci, a teacher at Alaağaç Primary School who was severely injured in the head after falling from the electric bicycle he was riding at school dismissal in the Akyazı district of Sakarya, lost his 9-day struggle for life in the hospital where he was receiving treatment. A funeral ceremony was held for Şekerci at Gazi Süleyman Paşa Mosque. After the ceremony, attended by his family, colleagues, and students, the deceased teacher was buried in the family cemetery.

HE FELL FROM THE ELECTRIC BICYCLE AFTER SCHOOL
The traffic accident that occurred in the Akyazı district of Sakarya resulted in the death of a teacher. Ufuk Şekerci, who worked at Alaağaç Primary School, lost his balance on September 30 while riding his electric bicycle after school. The teacher, who fell from the electric bicycle he lost control of, suffered a severe head injury. After the accident, Şekerci was taken to the hospital and placed under treatment.
HE LOST HIS 9-DAY BATTLE FOR LIFE
Ufuk Şekerci, whose health condition remained critical due to the severe blow he received to his head, was treated at Sakarya Training and Research Hospital. The painful news came from the teacher who fought for his life in the hospital for nine days. Despite the doctors' interventions, Şekerci could not be saved and lost his life. After the teacher's death, funeral procedures were completed and preparations were made for him to be sent off on his final journey in Akyazı.
HE WAS LAID TO REST IN AKYAZI
A funeral ceremony was held for Ufuk Şekerci, who lost his life, at Gazi Süleyman Paşa Mosque in Akyazı district. After the funeral prayer performed in the afternoon, Şekerci's body was taken to the family cemetery to be buried. The Alaağaç Primary School teacher was laid to rest in the family cemetery. Şekerci's family and relatives were also present at the funeral ceremony.
