A tradesman who wanted to conduct an experiment in the cold weather of minus 20 degrees in Sivas burned himself. The tradesman, who threw hot water into the air expecting it to freeze, was burned as the water fell back on him. He suffered burns on his hand and back, saying, "I couldn't regain my balance and the water came onto my body. Please let’s be more careful about this."
Raşit Yıldırım, who operates a breakfast hall in the Kızılırmak neighborhood of Sivas, burned himself while trying to conduct an experiment in the cold weather. Yıldırım, who expected the hot water he threw into the minus 20-degree air to freeze, was burned when the hot water spilled over him. The incident was captured on a mobile phone camera, showing burns on Yıldırım's hand and back.
"WHEN I COULDN'T BALANCE, IT CAME TO MY BODY"
Raşit Yıldırım stated that he was injured during the experiment he conducted to show the cold weather in Sivas to his followers on social media.
Stating that he experienced an unfortunate accident, Yıldırım said, "I was testing with hot water, and the temperature outside was minus 20 degrees. I took the water directly from the samovar and filled the teapot. The water I threw into the sky came back to my body when I couldn't balance. I got burns on my body."

Expressing that the weather in Sivas is very cold, Yıldırım said, "I thought the water would freeze in the air, but unfortunately, we burned ourselves. Please let's be more careful about this."
