In the Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep, 32-year-old painter master Bedri Koca, who allegedly demanded his remaining 20,000 lira wages from paint work at a factory, was stabbed in an argument that broke out over the debt issue. Koca, who was learned to be married and a father of 4 children, died in the hospital where he was taken with serious injuries, despite all the doctors' interventions.

The incident occurred yesterday evening in the rural Sinan neighborhood of Şehitkamil district. According to the allegations, Bedri Koca, a 32-year-old foreign national and father of 4 children, who did painting work in a factory, demanded his 20 thousand lira payment after the job was completed. Bedri Koca, who could not receive his payment for a while and therefore argued with his creditors during the last meeting, was seriously wounded by stabbing in various parts of his body.
COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS
Upon the notice, many gendarmerie and health teams were dispatched to the scene. Koca, who was seriously injured, was taken to a nearby private hospital after the first intervention of the health teams. Despite all interventions at the hospital, Koca lost his life. After the procedures at the Gaziantep forensic medicine institution were completed, his body was handed over to his relatives for burial.
A comprehensive investigation has been initiated by the gendarmerie teams regarding the incident.
