Ahmet Aslan (60) stabbed his niece Ayşe Eken (45) to death in the Harmancık district of Bursa. Aslan, who also seriously injured his brother Cennet Eken (75), who was trying to intervene, and his own son-in-law Engin Göç (40) with a knife, was detained by the police.

The incident occurred around 14:00 in a two-story detached house in the Akpınar neighborhood of Harmancık district. A dispute broke out between Ayşe Eken, who was said to be a shepherd, her mother Cennet Eken, and her uncle Ahmet Aslan, who came to their house.

Aslan also stabbed his brother Cennet Eken, who tried to separate the fight, and his son-in-law Engin Göç, who was present in the house at the time.
Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the address. During the check conducted by the teams, it was determined that Ayşe Eken had lost her life. Cennet Eken and Engin Göç, who were seriously injured, were taken to Harmancık State Hospital after their initial interventions.
After the incident, the suspect Ahmet Aslan, who did not flee, was detained by the gendarmerie teams. The body of Ayşe Eken was taken to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institution morgue after the prosecutor's examination, and an investigation was initiated regarding the incident.
