In the investigation into the murder of young football player Kubilay Kundakçı in Istanbul, 7 people, including Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, who is accused of committing the murder, Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, who is said to have instigated it, and singer İzzet Yıldızhan, were referred to the court with a request for arrest.
In the investigation regarding the murder of football player Kubilay Kundakçı, a request for the arrest of 7 people, including Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, was made.
NUMEROUS ARRESTS IN THE MURDER OF THE YOUNG FOOTBALL PLAYER The incident occurred on the night of March 19 on Sıddık Street in Ümraniye. According to allegations, rapper Vahap Canbay from the group Canbay & Wolker wanted to reconcile with singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, with whom he had separated some time ago. Canbay asked his friend Kubilay Kundakçı (21), with whom he had a good relationship, for help. Kubilay Kundakçı went to the front of the studio where Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu was located, along with Vahap Canbay and his friends.
Kubilay Kundakçı While the group was waiting in the vehicle, it was alleged that suspects arrived at the scene in luxury vehicles with flashing lights and carried out an attack. One of the suspects, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, opened fire on the group inside the vehicle. The 21-year-old football player Kubilay Kundakçı, who was hit by the bullets, was seriously injured. The young man, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost his life.
8 SUSPECTS ARRESTED; MURDER WEAPON RECOVERED Police teams, who started working to catch the suspects who fled after the incident, detained Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu (28), M.R. (52), H.C.A. (25), M.K. (59), E.T. (63), A.Ö. (46), A.T. (28), Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu (28), and Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu (50). A murder weapon was also recovered during the operation.
Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu and her mother Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE SUSPECTS FIRED AT THE VEHICLE Investigations revealed that Kaan Kundakçı, who lost his life in the incident, and 2 others were sitting in a parked vehicle when 2 different vehicles arrived at the scene, and one of the suspects who got out of these vehicles fired at the vehicle where Kundakçı was located and fled.
REQUEST FOR ARREST OF 7 SUSPECTS After the statements of the suspects were completed at the prosecutor's office, Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, İzzet Yıldızhan, A.T., M.R., H.C.A., M.K., and E.T. were referred to the Peace Criminal Court with a request for arrest. Meanwhile, suspect Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu and A.Ö. were sent to the Peace Criminal Court with a request for judicial control.
BILAL KADAYIFÇIOĞLU RELEASED Suspect Bilal Kadayıfçıoğlu, who was detained, was released after his statement at the prosecutor's office.
