In Ümraniye, 21-year-old amateur football player Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, who was shot while in a parked vehicle, has led to the arrest of 10 suspects, 7 of whom, including Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, and İzzet Yıldızhan, have been detained.
The investigation conducted by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the death of 21-year-old amateur football player Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, who was shot while sitting in a parked vehicle in Ümraniye, is ongoing.
3 SUSPECTS RELEASED
Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, her mother Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, singer İzzet Yıldızhan, and the murder suspect Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, among 10 suspects, were transferred to the Kartal Anatolian Courthouse in the morning after completing their procedures at the police station. Suspect Bilal Kadayıfçıoğlu was released without any judicial control measures after his statement to the prosecutor, while Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu and A.Ö. were released under judicial control conditions.
7 SUSPECTS SENT TO PRISON
Within the scope of the investigation, suspects Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, İzzet Yıldızhan, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, along with M.R, H.C.A, M.K., and E.T., who were referred to the peace criminal court with a request for arrest, were arrested and sent to prison.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On March 19, Kundakçı, who was sitting in a parked vehicle on Sıddık Street in Tatlısu Neighborhood with a friend, was seriously injured when one of the suspects, who arrived at the scene in two vehicles, fired a gun, and he later died in the hospital.
In the operation carried out by the Istanbul Police Department's Public Order Branch, 8 suspects, including singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu and Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, who was determined to have fired the gun, were captured.
In the operation conducted by the Homicide Bureau, the suspect who carried out the attack, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, along with his father Bilal Kadayıfçıoğlu and singer İzzet Yıldızhan, was also detained.
