After injuring his father-in-law S.G. with a knife during an argument in Nevşehir, Muammer S. was taken into custody by the police upon his wife's complaint. Muammer S., who was at home with his mother and a child, started shouting insults and threats from the window, prompting the police to try to convince him not to harm his family. After approximately 4 hours of effort, the suspect was persuaded and taken into custody.
FATHER-IN-LAW UNDERGOING TREATMENT IN HOSPITAL
The incident occurred around 23:30 in a 10-story building on Yavuz Sultan Selim Street in the Mehmet Akif Ersoy neighborhood. According to allegations, Muammer S. argued with his father-in-law S.G. during a visit with his wife and child. The situation quickly escalated into a fight, and during the struggle, S.G. was injured in the arm due to his son-in-law's knife attack. After the incident, Muammer S. left the house alone and went to his own house located on the same street. His wife took her injured father to the hospital along with their child. While S.G. was receiving treatment, his wife filed a complaint against Muammer S.
HE RESISTED POLICE FOR 4 HOURS
Upon the complaint, the police arrived at the house where Muammer S. lived. However, the suspect, who did not open the door to the police, started throwing insults and curses from the window and began throwing flower pots at the citizens gathered below. The police tried to convince Muammer S., who was learned to have his mother and a girl child in the house, not to harm his family. Muammer S. was persuaded and taken into custody after the team's 4-hour effort. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
