An investigation was launched against Ferhat Aydoğan and five others on allegations of conducting a fake inspection at a shopping mall in Afyonkarahisar by posing as public officials. They were taken into custody in an operation in Ankara. Footage of the suspects, who were seen walking around the mall with radios and protective gear, has emerged, along with the moment of their arrest.
Five people, including Ferhat Aydoğan, who introduced himself as the "General President of the People's Alliance Hearths" and came to the fore with his alleged inspection images in a shopping mall in Afyonkarahisar, were detained in Ankara. Images of the operation have also emerged.
OPERATION AFTER THE ALLEGED INSPECTION IMAGES AT THE MALL
In images shared on the X platform on June 3, 2026, Ferhat Aydoğan, who introduced himself as the "General President of the People's Alliance Hearths," was seen visiting some workplaces at Park Afyon Mall. In the images, it was claimed that Aydoğan entered stores with individuals carrying walkie-talkies and wearing protective clothing, conducted various inspections, and gave the impression of acting like a public official.
After the images caused a wide public outcry, the prosecutor's office launched an investigation on charges of "unlawfully assuming public duty."
6 SUSPECTS CAUGHT IN ANKARA
Within the scope of the investigation, Ferhat Aydoğan and 5 other suspects were detained in an operation in Ankara. It was learned that the detained individuals are Ferhat Aydoğan, Ergin Vançin, Seyit Ahmet Aslan, Mustafa Güngör, Eyüp Vançin, and Yusuf Yılmaz.
OPERATION IMAGES REVEALED
In the images of the detention operation, police teams were seen conducting operations targeting the suspects during the night hours. The images included moments where some suspects were neutralized by being forced to the ground and team vehicles took security measures in the area.
THEY HAVE MULTIPLE CRIMINAL RECORDS
According to the investigation file, Ferhat Aydoğan has 9 criminal records, Ergin Vançin 6, Mustafa Güngör 6, Eyüp Vançin 4, and Yusuf Yılmaz 1. It was stated that Seyit Ahmet Aslan has no criminal record.
