ORC Research shared the results of its latest election survey, which tracked voter pulse between June 17-19, 2026. In the survey, which landed like a bombshell on the political agenda, the AK Party maintained its top spot with 30.5%, while the potential new party of Özgür Özel, who is rumored to be forming a new party after the 'absolute nullity' decision, surpassed the CHP under Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's leadership to take second place.
SURVEY CONDUCTED IN 26 PROVINCES
In ORC Research's survey, 3,060 participants from 26 provinces were asked, 'If a general election were held this Sunday, which political party would you vote for?' According to the survey, the AK Party emerged as the leading party with a vote share of 30.5%.
ÖZGÜR ÖZEL'S NEW PARTY SURPASSES CHP
The most striking result of the survey was the reflection of the fragmentation scenarios within CHP at the ballot box. The potential vote share of the new political party expected to be founded by Özgür Özel following the absolute nullity decision drew attention. According to the results, Özgür Özel's new party placed second with a vote share of 18.6%, while the CHP under Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's leadership fell to third place with 15.2%. This picture revealed that Özel's potential party has received significant support from the existing CHP base.
