A person entered a restaurant where his ex-wife was working in Aksaray and attacked his ex-wife and her mother. The individual stabbed the restaurant owner and shot a waiter with a gun. Four people were injured in the incident.
A person who stormed the restaurant named Mustafa Chef, where his ex-wife worked in Aksaray, assaulted his wife and mother, stabbed the restaurant owner, and shot the waiter with a gun. In the incident, which left four people injured, restaurant employees attacked the press members.
ATTACKED HIS EX-WIFE AND MOTHER IN THE RESTAURANT
The incident occurred at the Mustafa Chef restaurant located on Atatürk Boulevard in Taşpazar Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Cumali Ç. (40), the ex-husband of a woman named Döne A. (39), who works at the restaurant, stormed the restaurant with a knife and a gun. Entering the restaurant, Cumali Ç. approached his ex-wife and attacked her and her mother Dudu A. (65), who was with her.
STABBED THE RESTAURANT OWNER, SHOT THE WAITER
While he was assaulting his ex-wife and former mother-in-law, the restaurant owner Mustafa K. (39) and Cemal S. (19), who was working as a waiter, intervened to separate them. At that moment, Cumali Ç. pulled out the gun he was carrying on his waist with one hand and the knife with the other, creating chaos. He shot the waiter Cemal S. in the leg and also stabbed the restaurant owner Mustafa K. in the leg, injuring him.
A LARGE NUMBER OF TEAMS ARRIVED AT THE RESTAURANT
As the injured restaurant owner and waiter collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, Cumali Ç. attacked his ex-wife and former mother-in-law again. Customers in the restaurant fled outside in fear, while citizens who heard the sounds of gunfire and the fight immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams that arrived shortly at the scene raced against time to provide first aid to the injured. Dudu A., who was injured in her ear and various parts of her body, said, "My daughter's ex-husband came and shot us all. His ex-wife. He shot my daughter's boss, the waiter boy, everyone. He was a madman."
RESTAURANT EMPLOYEES ATTACKED PRESS MEMBERS
After the initial interventions, the injured were transported to the Emergency Department of Aksaray Training and Research Hospital by ambulances. The restaurant employees attacked the press members who were filming the scene. While citizens tried to intervene, they insisted on saying "don't film." After the incident, Cumali Ç., who tried to escape from the restaurant, was caught without being able to flee due to the immediate intervention of the police teams. The person was hastily taken into custody and while being taken to the police vehicle, the relatives of the injured attempted to lynch him and attacked. The police struggled to prevent the attack, while Cumali Ç. was taken away in a police vehicle from the scene. It was learned that the conditions of the restaurant owner and the waiter, who were treated in the hospital, were serious, and an investigation was initiated by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident.
