A 28-year-old man in Italy stabbed his sister to death for playing loud music. 22-year-old Jlenia Musella was stabbed in the back by her brother and left at the hospital. Her brother, Giuseppe Musella, went to the police and surrendered after the incident.
A simple argument between two siblings in Italy ended in a horrific murder. Allegedly, a 28-year-old man stabbed and killed his own sister because she was playing music too loudly.
22-year-old Jlenia Musella was found left in front of a hospital with a severe stab wound to her back. The young woman could not be saved despite all interventions.
Shortly after the incident, her brother Giuseppe Musella turned himself in to the police. According to police sources, Musella admitted to the murder in his statement.
According to information reflected in the investigation file, the incident began on Tuesday at the home where the siblings lived. Giuseppe Musella stated that his sister was playing music too loudly and that he could not sleep because of it. It was claimed that he lost control of his anger as the argument escalated.
The suspect stated, "She didn't let me sleep. I threw the knife while she was turned away, but I didn't think it would hit her."
However, the prosecution believes that the incident is not that simple. Allegedly, Jlenia Musella was beaten with punches and slaps by her brother before being stabbed. She was then stabbed in the back.
Father Maurizio Patriciello, a priest serving in the Caivano area, stated regarding the incident, "The young woman was stabbed in the back by her brother, probably because she was making noise, likely because she was listening to music."
It was claimed that after the stabbing, Giuseppe Musella put his sister in his vehicle and left her at the emergency entrance of Villa Betania Hospital. Security cameras also confirmed that the person who left the young woman in front of the hospital was her brother.
The suspect turned himself in to the police after wandering the streets for a while following the incident.
It was learned that the siblings lived alone in a social housing complex located in the Ponticelli district of Naples. The area is often in the news for poverty, drugs, and organized crime.
It was noted that Jlenia Musella spent the weekend out with friends watching a popular DJ's performance and had just returned home shortly before the incident.
Giuseppe Musella is currently detained in Secondigliano Prison in Naples on charges of intentional homicide. It is alleged that the suspect is connected to the Casella-Circone criminal organization, which is said to be influential in the area. It is also mentioned that he has dreams of becoming a professional football player.
It was learned that the young woman's mother and stepfather are in prison for other crimes.
A young person from the neighborhood expressed his feelings for Jlenia, who is quite active on social media, saying, "She was always someone who smiled and spread joy around. It is very painful that she is no longer here."
