Muharrem Ince, who was seen next to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu at the funeral of Olcay Baykal, wife of former CHP Chairman Deniz Baykal, harshly reacted to criticisms on social media. Ince described making political comments based on a photo taken at the funeral as 'immorality' and said, 'Is there a protocol for who stands next to whom in funeral prayers? Ignorant people!'
Olcay Baykal, wife of former CHP Chairman Deniz Baykal, passed away at the age of 88. Olcay Baykal was laid to rest at the State Cemetery after the funeral prayer held at Karşıyaka Mosque.
The funeral was attended by Özgür Özel and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who assumed the CHP chairmanship by annulment of marriage. The two figures shook hands at the funeral, with DSP Chairman Önder Aksakal between them.

"THIS IS CALLED IMMORALITY"
Reacting to criticism, Muharrem İnce said: "At the funeral of our former Chairman the late Deniz Baykal's precious wife Olcay Baykal; Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu, Mr. Özel, and many former and current CHP executives and deputies attended. Taking a photo here and making political analysis is immorality!"
İnce continued his statement: "At a funeral, you stand in line, you don't look at who is on your left or right. Believers gathered to perform the final duty for the deceased say their prayers and disperse. Some who think they are opponents have lost their minds, morals, and decency. Is there a protocol about who stands next to whom in a funeral prayer? Ignorant people!"
