HEAVY RAIN WAS EFFECTIVE
Following the heavy rain that affected Aşağı Maden village, connected to the Artvin city center, streams overflowed. Due to the rising water level, floods occurred at some points in the village. After the downpour, the flow rate of the stream passing through the Petriyet neighborhood of the village increased. The overflowing stream waters submerged some sections of the roads within the neighborhood. The waters that overflowed from the stream bed caused difficult moments for the village residents.
NECESSARY MEASURES WERE TAKEN
Upon notification, teams dispatched to the area conducted necessary checks and took measures in the areas affected by the flood. As the rain ended, the stream water returned to its normal level, preventing the situation from escalating in the region.
