Following the incident, detailed examinations were conducted at Zeyrek's house by teams from the Manisa Provincial Police Department and the Public Prosecutor. Additionally, statements were taken from over 20 witnesses, including firefighters and medical personnel at the scene, as well as Zeyrek's neighbors, two of whom were designated as suspects.

It was reported that the expert report, which will also include details regarding the building permit, is nearing completion.
