A woman working as a prostitute on the Kartal coast of Istanbul made strange movements by the roadside during the day to attract attention. The woman, who showed her underwear to draw attention, did not care about the people in the shopping mall across from her.
The Kartal beach, where sex workers frequently negotiate prostitution, was once again the scene of similar images during the day. A sex worker standing on the beach road across from the shopping mall did her best to attract the attention of passing cars. The woman, making hand gestures, occasionally showed her underwear to the drivers. The woman's relaxed demeanor, indifferent to the people in and around the shopping mall, was captured on camera.
LOCAL RESIDENTS IN PROTEST
Citizens living in the area where sex workers often stop stated that the same scenes appear every night after 10:00 PM and requested that the authorities take action.

The Kartal beach road had previously made headlines with similar news. In footage taken last May, women waiting on the beach road had negotiated prostitution with drivers. In the footage, women bargaining with drivers in a stop-and-go manner caused long traffic jams.
