Thanking TİGAD for the meeting, Çiçek emphasized the fight against drugs. He stated that they are doing everything they can to help young people escape from drugs, and shared a sad story of a mother by asking, "Have you ever seen a mother who wishes for her child to die?" Governor Çiçek expressed that a child who used to kiss and hug his mother a year ago has turned into a boy who hits his mother due to drugs a year later. He shared that the mother now wishes for her child to die and prays, "I hope a truck hits him and he doesn't come back." Governor Çiçek noted that 9.5 tons of methamphetamine were seized while entering the city during the day.
"WE ARE PROUD OF THE 'ERVA SPORTS SCHOOLS' PROJECT"
Çiçek stated that they are doing everything to combat drugs, saying, "We have launched the 'ERVA Sports Schools' project. We are proud of this project to keep children away from drugs and bring them closer to sports. In addition, the Kayseri Governorship, in collaboration with Yeşilay and our philanthropists, has laid the foundation for the 'Yeşilay Drug Combat and Rehabilitation Center.' We are proud of this."
