Last night in Şanlıurfa, in front of Harran University Osmanbey Campus on the Şanlıurfa-Mardin road, three female friends who got off the bus were attacked by stray street dogs while trying to go to the dormitory across from Harran University.
CAR HIT HER, LOST HER LIFE
One of the girls, Sevda Özkaya (27), jumped onto the road in panic and was severely injured after being hit by a car whose license plate and driver's name are unknown. The young girl was taken to Harran University Medical Faculty Hospital, but despite all interventions, she lost her life.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
It was reported that the young girl, who came to Şanlıurfa from Şırnak for university, was a final year student in the Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. The body, taken to the Şanlıurfa Forensic Medicine Institution Morgue, was handed over to her relatives after the autopsy procedures were completed. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
